Exceptional Food and Drink Experience
The Wheatsheaf Inn is widely celebrated for its outstanding food, with numerous visitors describing their meals as some of the best they have ever had. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of hearty pub classics and refined dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Standout menu items include the perfectly cooked Sunday roasts, rich and flavourful fish pie. The ambiance, decor, and rooms are really well finished. We were in the dog friendly bar which was welcoming and warm.
Well done to the bar staff, we felt looked after without overpowering hosting.
As for the food...well it was all amazing!!!
Well done on all parts. It's good to see a local village pub being well run with a busy buzzing atmosphere!!!
Puddings were quite pricey, but no problem, they're optional and the superb main courses are excellent. Fish pies especially good..
Recommended.
